Welcome to Lynn Kay Kennels, home of the Dry Mouth Newfoundland, located in the beautiful countryside near Davison, Michigan.
My name is Marci Ward-Kubik, and I’m proud to continue the legacy my mother, Linda Ward, began more than 45 years ago. While Mom has now retired, she still enjoys helping with puppies and breeding decisions from time to time. Together, we’ve shared a lifetime of wonderful memories raising Newfoundland dogs, and today I’m honored to carry on the kennel she built.

For more than four decades, our focus has been on raising healthy, loving Newfoundland puppies with exceptional temperaments. Our Newfoundlands aren’t just our breeding dogs—they’re cherished members of our family. Every puppy is raised with love, care, and plenty of attention before becoming a treasured member of its new family.
Thank you for visiting Lynn Kay Kennels. We invite you to explore our website, meet our amazing Newfoundland family, and learn why so many families have trusted us to help them find their newest best friend.
At Lynn Kay Kennels, our Newfoundlands come in Black, Brown, Landseer (Black & White), and a variety of Black & White markings. As you explore our website, you’ll see all of these beautiful colors represented by the dogs we’ve proudly owned, as well as many of the puppies we’ve placed with families over the years.
One of the first things people notice about a Newfoundland is their impressive size, but it’s their sweet temperament and gentle nature that truly capture your heart. Often called a Newfie, Newf, or simply a Newfoundland, these beautiful dogs are part of the Working Group and have earned the nickname “Gentle Giants.”

A short description of the service and how the visitor will benefit from it.
For more than 45 years, Lynn Kay Kennels has been dedicated to raising healthy, well-socialized Newfoundland puppies with exceptional temperaments. Every breeding is carefully planned with health, structure, and personality in mind, and each puppy is raised with the love, attention, and care we would give our own family.
From the day they’re born, our puppies are handled daily, receiving plenty of affection and early socialization to help them become confident, loving companions. We take great pride in every puppy we place and are committed to giving each one the very best start in life.
Our goal has always been simple—to raise beautiful, healthy Newfoundlands that will bring years of love, loyalty, and happiness to the families who welcome them home.
From the moment they’re born, our puppies are treated like members of our family long before they become part of yours. They are held, cuddled, talked to, and loved every single day, giving them the attention and socialization they need to grow into confident, affectionate companions.
We spend countless hours with each litter, making sure every puppy is comfortable being handled and enjoys positive interactions with people. It’s impossible not to fall in love with these little babies, and every litter holds a special place in our hearts.
When it’s finally time for your puppy to go home, you can feel confident knowing they’ve been raised with the same love, care, and attention we would want for our own dogs.
Before going to their new homes, every Newfoundland puppy is examined by our licensed veterinarian to ensure they are healthy, thriving, and ready for pickup or delivery. We want every family to feel confident knowing their new puppy has received a thorough health examination before leaving Lynn Kay Kennels.
Whether you’re picking up your puppy here at the kennel or taking advantage of our door-to-door delivery service, we are committed to making the transition to your home as smooth and stress-free as possible.
At Lynn Kay Kennels, customer satisfaction has always been our top priority. From your first phone call until the day your puppy joins your family, we’re here to answer your questions and guide you through every step of the process.
Your $200 waiting list deposit is good for life and will always be applied toward the purchase price of your future puppy. We want you to feel comfortable knowing there’s never any pressure to choose a puppy before the time is right for your family.
All of our puppies are AKC registered and microchipped before going to their new homes. We believe in building lasting relationships with the families who choose one of our puppies, and many of our puppy owners have become lifelong friends.
We’re always happy to provide references from families throughout the United States and Canada who have welcomed a Lynn Kay Kennels Newfoundland into their homes.
